Working Session to Better Support Early Years Families in Courtenay & Comox
When: 12:30pm - 3:30pm
Location: The Little Red Church (2182 Comox Ave, Comox, BC V9M 1W5).
*Snacks and refreshments provided. *Childminding and transportation support available for parents/caregivers who attend.

At the working session, you can expect to:
Learn about the systems that support child well-being (child, family, community, policies, structures, and institutional levels)
Review what parents in Courtenay and Comox have shared about their experience raising children in these neighbourhoods (strengths, barriers and needs)
Better understand the lived experience of families (integral to social change)
Work alongside community and think creatively
Support the project team in selecting which ideas to pursue to better support early years families (conception to age 8) in Courtenay & Comox
